Eric Clapton, Florence Welch Joining Stones For Second London Show
The Rolling Stones have more guests lined up for their next London show. Eric Clapton and Florence and the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch are set to take part in the concert, taking place Thursday night at the O2 Arena. It will be the second of the Stones' five scheduled "50 and Counting" shows. The group launched the concert series in London Sunday night. That show featured appearances from former band members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, as well as Jeff Beck and Mary J. Blige.
Next month the Stones will bring their "50 and Counting" show to this side of the Atlantic. They'll perform at New York's Barclays Center on December 8th, and play a two-night stand at Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center on December 13th and 15th. The last show will also be carried live as a pay-per-view TV special.
