Bon Jovi Making Impressive Chart Start With New Single
(Undated) -- Jon Bon Jovi might not have a new Golden Globe award to his credit, but he appears to have a hit with his band's latest single. Billboard.com says Bon Jovi's "Because We Can" is storming onto the charts this week. The track is debuting at number 21 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and starting its run on the Adult Pop chart at number 30. Bon Jovi released "Because We Can" last week. In a YouTube video promoting the song Jon explains that "Because We Can" is about taking the opportunities to do something to help others. He explains that the song reflects the band's glass-half-full perspective along with their goal of spreading optimistic messages with their music. "Because We Can" is the lead-off single to the group's upcoming album, "What About Now," which is due in stores on March 26th.
Jon Bon Jovi was up for a Golden Globe award over the weekend for his solo track "Not Running Anymore" from the film "Stand Up Guys." But he fell to Adele's James Bond theme, "Skyfall."
