Temptations, Carole King Among Grammy Lifetime Achievement Honorees
The Temptations and Carole King are being recognized for the musical contributions they've made over the course of their careers. They're among this year's Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipients, along with Ornette Coleman's longtime bassist Charlie Haden. Ravi Shankar and Patti Page -- who just died within the past two months -- as well as the late blues great Lightnin' Hopkins and classical pianist Glenn Gould will receive posthumous honors. All the recipients will be honored at a special invitation-only ceremony that will be held in Los Angeles Saturday night. The Lifetime Achievement winners will also be acknowledged at the 55th Grammy Awards, which will air on CBS Sunday
