Journey's Neal Schon, Carlos Santana Discussing A Collaboration
Journey's Neal Schon says he just might be teaming up on a project with the man who helped launch his career. The guitarist tells Australia's Noise11.com that he's "reconnected with Carlos Santana," and they've been "talking about doing something together again." Neal explains that he "hooked up with him before Christmas," and they've exchanged a number of phone calls in recent weeks. Schon admits he and Carlos have no concrete plans, but adds that "you never know what's going to happen. Life is full of surprises." Schon was a member of Santana back in the early '70s, joining the group when he was just 15 years old. He's featured on the Santana's 1971 album "Santana III" and 1972's "Caravanserai."
